How is the scenario plagiarized from a completely different game? I don't understand. If someone is trying to use a scenario they like in a different game as a model to create a new scenario here, that's not plagiarism.

I'm playing Japan. The small added cities produce Nothing!. Though listed as producing arms at the first of the game, I'm getting nothing, even after I switched over to "goods". Any ideas?

It's now 1936-1953. Added scenario banner, and edited the in-game ones to reflect this change.

also you should make so when you instale a frendly goverment in another nation the Relation should be much higer it kinda weird that a goverment that is loyal to you has a terrible relationship with you

@MiniStalin I added Stalinism and National Socialism because Stalinist Communism wasn't exactly communist, and German Fascism, rather Nazism, was alot different from regular Fascism. Either way i changed it back to the originals, i kept Militarist though.

If you guys haven't noticed, even in The Limits of Peace there are mountains in northern Germany. It's nonsense :P
I'll be releasing another major update very soon. I changed Oldenburg to Forests, btw, based on HankScorpio's topographic map.
British Raj is now part of UK once more, i didn't realize how big of a difference it made to UK in Multiplayer. Most people just take them over right away anyways.
Those techs i added (Pre-War Era, Early-War Era, etc.) in the new update that did absolutely nothing, will be requirements for certain techs. They take rather fast so there's not that much of a research setback.
Wait that is the same scenario that I've downloaded from the forum.
I'm honestly convinced this is the best 1936 scenario out there, 100% balanced for all countries. The added warlord states in China give that theater A LOT of flavor, the added techs are perfect for the era, not to mention gives countries an added bonus for whatever they wish to specialize in.
If I could rate this higher then a 5/5 I would.

The quest for Beta v0.8 has begun. (After Alfred's suggestions) I plan to increase the upkeep costs of Tanks, so the entire game revolves less around tank spam, so people will actually build other units besides tanks. Including a slightly longer Nuclear and Rocketry tech tree, and some more tactical bonus upgrades for armor specialization, along with specific techs that each of the player nations start with. But those are currently a surprise, but each nation gets it's own attack/defence penalties/bonuses for each unit type. I.E. Germans get a submarine attack bonus.
And new armor unit: Modern Tank
Using early-cold war models.

My hat is off to you TehBoss this is an excellent scenario. I especially enjoy that you put a fifth ideology into the mix. The only suggestion I have is to increase the IPU cost of the tech tree research projects. Everything currently only costs 1 per turn which make tearing through the whole tree pretty easy. Otherwise I think this is great and can't wait to see what you do with it from here.
I agree with Doctor_Nick. The IPU cost of the research projects should increase progressively. Apart from that, the scenario is outstanding.
I think I'll still keep the research IPU's low, but it really makes it more multiplayer-friendly.

In other news, if you didn't notice yet, I just released an update (v0.7) which includes a fix for the 0 attack 0 defence Modern Infantry bug.
You should add more resources in the USSR. (because it was the country with most natural resources in the world.)
But otherwise, it's a very good scenario, interesting to play. You've put much time in it, I think. 5/5
PS: What source did you use for armies?
The only reason I brought up the research tree is that I have one city with 50 IPU that is currently funding ALL of my research projects. I think this is pretty unreal but those slight increases in IPU should make the difference. Also I think that improved mech. infantry and advanced mech. infantry only cost one research point to aquire. So it only takes one turn to get them. Might want to fix that. Otherwise good job! Will keep playing this one until they finally fix the bugs in MH2. It's a shame we have had to wait so long for an editor in MH2 I'm so bored with the original three scenarios.
I can only add so much without drastically overpowering them. Creo made a good multiplayer mod which added Coal (based on accurate sources) to the USSR and he had 700 tanks at one point. It took me (230 tanks) as China, and Alfred as USA (400 tanks) to take him down by the end of the game. The only thing that tipped the odds was that Alfred had all his armies at 100% supply lmao. All because he added a little more coal to USSR. Instead, I decided to move their Ukraine Coal and Metals to the east, so when the USSR player loses Ukraine they can actually continue to survive.
At the most I'll add 50 coal, that's really all I can add without un-balancing it.

LOL today in multiplayer i had a 10 IPU city doing all my research as USSR. That's really all you can do without whipping up a monstrous debt.
TehBoss im traing to unite china and im doing pretty well the only problem is that no one likes me anymore because i declared war against two nations could you fix that by the way some of the Chinese states have 0 Relation with everyone
Awesome scenerio, only thing was playing as China I declared war on the UK, took India, adn was unable to grant India independence, also, I was wondering if you could add that option for the African colonies as well.

That is on purpose. The entire world didnt recognize these warlord states as actual nations, as such, I didnt add any national relations with any of them. Tibet has them by default, but I'll remove it so the UK doesn't decalre war when you try to take them over, or hate your guts.
Get the latest update, it should be fixed. It's because India (British Raj in pre 0.7) is simply renamed to British Raj, if you annex them, you can re-liberate them. But in 0.8 they are UK territory again, because of some problems in Multiplayer.
So, make Sudan, Cameroon, etc. all liberatable? It might take a long time, but I guess I can do that.
You and Russky are just jealous that you didn't think of this idea first.

TecBoss, looking forward to playing this scenario. Started to play as Germany. Ran into a small problem, in the city of Bonn you can't choose what to produce. Just a blank screen when I attempt to assign production. Thanks for your efforts on this scenario!

For those who wants to fix the Bonn problem, just delete the line "property name="nTechLevel" value="0"/" in the countryGermany.xml
BTW, Boss, why are you using the modern German roundel instead of the one used in WW2?
PS: Almost all of the new units and some of the 2d art in this mod where made/converted by me - I suppose you gave specific credits in your readme, by I can't find it.
I decided not to add a readme until i leave Beta status, so that's two more updates (0.9 and 1.0) why do you think I haven't made a stylish installer yet? But yes, the modern tanks and ww1 tanks were made by you, I'm not hiding anything XD. Still working on typing up that readme BTW, expect to see it soon, including your much needed credits :3
There is also a problem, with cities, besides Bonn. I managed to fix North Korea, and fixed two french colonial cities, including a Spanish city on morocco, props to Huxley for pointing that out to me.
And, I'm expanding the time-frame to 1936-1965 including new tech branches to reflect this extended time-line, such as a new Surveillance Satellite.
About Germany's roundel, I just thought it looks a little more stylish than the regular Wehrmacht cross, props to tmressler and his modern day flag pack, which i used a lot of flags from.
Could you also add helicopters, napalm, and computers. Also is there any way to add some kind of air transportation for ground units, or paratroopers maybe?

Yeah I know, all 1 IPU cities I added in 0.8 are broken. I fixed it in 0.9.
Aww man! What does the extreme difficulty do to the game? Hungary built more than 3000 combat power in 20 turns! Does it give them 10 times the IPU's they have or something?

I just renamed it.
The credits are in the readme - "authorization granted for using models from the terrific mod Battlefield 1918. 3d art: replaced my Whippet model by the one from BF1918, which is much better." And I actually asked the owners for permission to use their models. You don't imagine how hard it was to assemble all the small parts of these models and remake the UWV mapping - just for having them for MH.

You know what? I'm tired of this place. I spend at least 2 hours daily working on my mods. People spend 2 minutes to take all I've done and put in their scenarios, without even bother to give me the credits. I'm releasing now my last TCBTS as it is and I'm out of here.

i am doing something wrong?... the scenario looks just like any other scenario. i have no extra AI levels. like extreme. and i cant play in those layouts. i prob saying it wrong right now. go ahead call me a fag. but so you can see it in alliance mode or type of country democratic. or communist. but it does not let me play it in that way. it only shows me the original flat picture. plz halp :(

Oh, i took that out after the first few beta's because nobody said anything about it unless I asked, i thought that nobody even really cared about it, so i removed it. I put them back in version 0.9 though.

I was playing Germany, and France declared war on me on turn 22. You might want to do something about that.
And when was this? I know that after the Spanish Civil War ticks off, if you ally Nationalist Spain, France declares war sometimes. There's nothing in France's code which gives them a warplan to invade Germany, and there's no events related to France which would cause them to declare war, other than the munich conference, at turn 143.
ORIGINALLY, i found that France would declare war with my original rhineland script, where Germany would DOW Rhineland, and spawn troops and insta-kill. France has a protection script on Rhineland, when soemone declares war or invades. I managed to change the code so they just surrender instantly to Germany with no DOW so this doesn't happen. So this isn't your problem.
If you were just sitting on your ass until turn 22 doing absolutely nothing, then I'll take a look into this France thing.

*edit: I WAS CORRECT! I'll make a little fix on the forums to fix that. Either way it's perfectly playable even if France declares war. I was Germany and by turn 59 I had been spamming heavy infantry and light tanks and eventually broke their entire front by taking Alsace.

This scenario looks Amazing! but I can't run the scenario, i downloaded it as it said on instructions but the scenario doesnt show up in scenarios in game, it shows up in MHG scenarios folder, pls help me out!!!
What's the name of the folder ? Sometimes it's because of the folder name .

Maybe i'm doing something in-game that is incorrect so please let me know if i am, but I had a couple issues while playing .95. While playing as Germany I conquered Hungary and Romania, I took every territory they had, but they were still alive, and it showed thier former territories as occupied, not fully under my control. Also, everytime I would launch an airstrike on France or GB, the pop up came up asking if I was sure I wanted to declare war.
Other than that, scenerio was awesome, newer options with each update are amazing, and I bow to your modding skills.
I guess since I am used to MH II now I was hoping it would look more like MH II. I looked at the tech tree as the US and it was great. I am going to give it a try. Hope later you make something like this for MH II when the editor comes out. Probably next year? I give it 4 stars without even playing it.
What's the install directory ? It must be installed i the game folder .

Are these all your cities on the pacific islands? Those are supposed to be broken. They are simply naval bases, not actual cities.
My attention has been elsewhere, so I missed some of the unfortunate sniping going on here. Let's consider this an end to it. It may have contributed to costing us a valuable member of the community, and it detracts from discussion of Tehboss' excellent mod.

i wish that the other chinnese countries had more of a army, when i play normal china declares war and rolls over all of them, i think it would be sweet if they had more of an army and also unified sometimes.
This is my favorite WWII MHG scenario. One of many things I feel that it fixes compared to Vanilla MHG is Motorized Infantry. In regular MHG, Motorized Infantry is faster and more expensive than Basic Infantry, which makes sense, but has less fighting power, which does not. Although Motorized Infantry must divert a significant amount of manpower from rifle strength to driving and maintaining trucks, this is more than made up for by the fact that it can have far more heavy weapons (mortars, machine guns, and anti-tank guns) because of the availability of trucks to move them around; it is also able to haul more ammuntion per weapon than "leg" infantry, additonally increasing firepower. Arguably, it can carry more and better radios, improving command and and control.
RTW fixes this by making Motorized Infantry substantially more powerful than Basic Infantry but, perhaps by an oversight, makes the cost of Motorized Infantry the same as Basic (100 IPUs). Given that RTW v1.0 increases the cost of a Light Tank unit to 300 IPUs (quite correctly, I feel), the cost of a Motorized Infantry unit should be raised to about 160 IPUs, give or take 10. Two hundred IPU might be even more appropriate, but then it would cost as much as 2 Basic Infantry and might not be worth building.
Just my 2 cents (or 60 IPUs). Thanks for doing all this work to make the game better for everyone.
On second thought, the 200 IPU price tage would be for Mechanized Infantry.

Brazil is broken, it stays in play even after losing all teritorries. Finland is also broken, you can't enter it at all. Also, taking command of Uruguay and dominating both north and south Americas by infantry of all sorts is always fun as hell... but it should NOT happen in a "ultra-realism mod" :-D.
I have no idea to fix that, it is most likely an engine glitch, but i have done nothing to Brazil which could cause this, nevertheless i will look into it.
You cannot enter it, as in you cannot attack it when you declare war? I have been investigating into this for a while, I'm actually glad another player noticed this, which means it's a replicatable issue (easier to find).
This is a very good work. But some improvements could be made (some non-existend flags, diplomacy does not respond in some cases as well as granting independence). Does a next version feature in your plans?
When i destroy an alliance, it stays there but with no flag, no members, and when i was at war with the US, everytime i tryed to attack them, it asked me everytime to declare war even tho i was already at war, same with the UK and many other countrys, and some countrys to do say they are destroyed even tho they have been, no population, no land nothing but they are still there.
i meant, they aren't destoyed when they have nothing
