New Making History II 1.25 pre-release posted, glimmerings of an editor sighted...
We have updated the 1.25 pre-release with a few more fixes and the start of the editor! The editor's main value to users at this stage is that it automates the initial process of creating a mod from an existing scenario so you don't have to muck around with files and directories. It still only edits a few representative properties, but we are hard at work adding the rest of them. For now you will still have to edit most properties directly in XML. We anticipate releasing 1.25 some time next week (before the completion of the editor) because there are a number of improvements (especially on the Mac) that we want to get into players hands. But don't worry - we'll keep going on the editor. We see the light at the end of the tunnel!

UPDATE 12/8/11: Small update fixing and adding some editor functionality.
Will this update be available through Steam?
:D
It isn't available on Steam while in pre-release status. It will be when we release, probably next week.
nice!
Looking forward to more features!
YAY!
I like it ya did well on it. I can see the a lot of mods coming in the future.
Very surprised to see the editor coming up so early! In fact, you did a great job releasing not only tons of performance and gameplay updates but also working on the editor. Very good work!
Dave, is this equivalent to the last beta?
Thanks
i don't know if it is just a glitch in my game but the communist parties of both Italy and Slovenia have the same military unit symbol. Is it suppose to be that way?
how long till the editor comes out?
It is out in this current beta patch. If you have steam, you'll need to wait until the patch goes live.
Do you have an approximately time/date of when it comes out to Steam players ?
when will you make more updates for the edit part and will their come an editor like MH1/MHG, just better than the last one?
I bought the game on steam this week and played it for a few hours. I noticed mass infantry unit spawn @ China. Playing with USSR somehow China managed to get 15groups of +- 70 units in 50 turns. (no it was not militia)
Gr.. Hopefully the update releases soon 4 steam
Oh and btw.. The store on this site says u can purchase the game for 23,11 euros, but if you connect to paypal it suddenly changes to 58 Dollar, thats alot more then 23 euros.
