Good! Now you know how to do it.
With the default scenarios you can enjoy only a quarter of the "Making History Experience". Now with the custom scenarios you will enjoy the rest. ;)
MODS: Deadlock: making-history.com/asset/1317 ; TCBTS: making-history.com/asset/384091 ; Zombie Apocalypse: making-history.com/asset/368403 ; Onslaught: making-history.com/asset/418213
Custom scenarios are always a great addition to any person who plays Making History, especially those that are on the "Most downloaded" scenarios list.
Sadly, very few of even the best custom scenarios are good for PvP multiplayer. Singleplayer is always fun though :)
Good scenario with lots of possibilities for interesting plays!
Just a few questions: I played France and opted to remain neutral.
At turn 307 I am still neutral while war rages all around. When I finally get involved as part of the Allies I simply get overwhelmed by the Germans and Austro-Hungarians in about a dozen turns. France seems to lack the production capacity to become a serious contender in this game, the build up of IPUs is slow and costly at 2 coal. Also, it is very difficult to build up any defensive strength let alone offensive. A chronic shortage of arms and toasters. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, where do you keep the back up files? (running XP)
"Soc et tuem"
France has a lot of potential, but you will need to build up your cities, maximize your producers and import resources. Yes, you will get a lot of debit before getting stronger.
If playing right, even the Ottoman Empire can become a major power.

So, is it out there people willing to continue to play this scenario? I have one update almost ready and a later one (the ultimate) planned.

Well, yeah, with MHII still wonky I'm still interested in new Deadlock scenarios. I would like to request that the scenario be unlocked, or at least have some new dates added. The breadth of the new technology tree makes it fun to knock the start date back, or end date forward, a few years so one can more fully enjoy unleashing the Ottoman Zeppelin Armada.
Blade!!! It's good to see you around!
I'm replacing every single plane with the excellent Snafu's 3d models. I will be releasing an update soon, but yes, it would be very interesting to include a scenario starting much earlier.

Someday I will make another two versions of the mod: Deadlock: Prelude (starting 1912 or 1913) and the Deadlock: Aftermath (starting 1917 or 1918).
But I have no idea when these are going to the released.

Are you kidding? Of course people will continue to play this! It's our "official" WW1 mod in mutliplayer!
..wait, did you say.. the ultimate update? i wonder what on Earth that is. It sounds mighty epic.
When I said "ultimate", I wasn't kidding. What I want is to change some hard-coded functions and to remake all the graphics of the game, including panels, buttons, etc. So, when you load Deadlock, it will be like a whole different game. That's a huge step and a huge work, but I already started.
Meanwhile, I will give you a "regular" update (in about 2 weeks), with some new units, several new 3d models and improved code. Ah, and Bulgaria as a playable country. ;)

Cool
