hi, i'am new here. Love this game, was always waiting for some new units. I'am familiar with editor and i know about XML's. No prob to make new 2D's and write script's. Only 3D is new for me. Now back to the point. as far as i found out, MH is using 2 files for each 3D model in their directory --C:ProgrammeMuzzy Lane SoftwareMaking History GoldModern EuropesystemUIart3D--. 1st is a basic "NIF"-file for the model itself and 2nd a "KF"-file for animations. Now kosmonaftx was using a "DDS"-file for his models, like other games (Civilization,TotalWar,...) do. MH doesn't use DDS files with their 3D's. That's what I found out so far, maybe other's like TehBoss have some ideas how to get this great 3D models into game...???

hi kosmonaftx, well u confirm what i found out myself, lol. give u an example: 1)go to: "C:ProgrammeMuzzy Lane SoftwareMaking History GoldModern EuropesystemUIart3D" then choose as example "BomberUSA", replace the "Heavy-Bomber_USA"-NIF-file with ur "B52"-NIF-file and then RENAME ur file "B52" into "Heavy-Bomber_USA" so that there wont be a prob with the XML's. So far so good but how can u convert DDS into KF???...because if i use ur DDS instead of the KF or if i use both, the new model wont show up in game. i tried out all possibilities, nothing works. Also i think it's not possible to convert DDS into KF, right? as far as i found out the only way would be to create a new KF for the specified model. I also checked the "DisplayLibraries-XML's" but i think it's not necessary to change them. In my view the prob are the aniomation files...

really thank, alwaxer, i have some problems whit my computer, but i use my iphone for internet, i will update the file as soon as possible. And trying these models is at your own risk, make a backup file of the 3d art if you want.

yes, that would be great :) ...i understud that u're not a "programmer" ;) ...but it would really help if u take a look into the games' 3D-directory to find out what exactly u would have to change to get ur models working and as i described it above, it should be the different animation-format which u / game are using. thx again for ur efforts and take all the time u need to fix it (...even we can't wait for it :D)

thanks, but i dont know how to make kf files, I never used it before can u offer some help, do you have some experience creating kf? I havent, I need help with it...

hmm, i thought if someone knows how to make such great 3D models he should know about kf-files ;) anyway, i'am personally a foooool regarding 3D stuff and kf is related to 3D, lol ...maybe TehBoss or other experts can bring their brain-power in here. ...and what can we both do? ...maybe w meet on skype so we can talk there and share our both brainpower, lol my skype-id: "alwaxer" ...i'll be online the next 1-2 hours so u can meet me there, cheers :)

...i made some further research using the "NifSkope" software to check the differences between the new models and the origin game models. there are a lot of differences but as i said, i'am a newbie with 3D stuff, so we would need someone who is a 3D expert. comment regarding "DDS", i converted it to "JPG", so these files have nothing to do with the animation (KF-files) used by Muzzy Lane. so what do we know? 1)New models have different NIF then the origin ones. 2)Animtion files are missing 3)alwaxer is a "fooool" who is still learning :D 4)we definatly need a 3D expert
