Those models could be a great asset to modders, but they were taken directly from the Civilizations IV game. You just zipped the models folder from Civ IV and uploaded. I don't think the owners will authorize their use. :(
MODS: Deadlock: making-history.com/asset/1317 ; TCBTS: making-history.com/asset/384091 ; Zombie Apocalypse: making-history.com/asset/368403 ; Onslaught: making-history.com/asset/418213
I had this suspicion yesterday, these models are coming from "somewhere" ;) Anyway, I was wondering all time long why it seems only this game doesn't have a single 3D specialist who should be able to develop some new models for this great game. In most other games you already new 3D models integrated. Can't understand why here is nobody who is able to do this job, just think how modern units would improve the fun factor of all mods within 21st century. It's just cool to have MIG's, F18's, B52's, Leo's and Abrams fighting instead of antique tanks, fighters and bombers.

Odanan is the only person I know so far that has created his own 3D models for the game. Ya, I figured these were from Civ4 when I looked into the Churchill model and found the Icon from Civ4.

how does this work, can you just copy it into a file or do you need to change the XML's? I'm sorry if this has been explained before but there are a lot of people saying a lot of different things and i dont want to screw the game up.

I'm not sure if we would even be allowed to use them, they are from Civilization IV so there may be a copyright issue.

Then why upload it? This is stupid. You uploaded 3d units which can't be used.

Actually, these models are usefull if you're converting. Saves alot of time to just go through these than run all over the internet trying to look for an appropriate model. So, in a way, it's useful.
The 3D models, in their current state, DO NOT work with the game. The 3D models, when converted using nifSkope, DO work with the game.
Yeah good rating, and why do you guys say it's from Civ IV?
I did say it's from Max Riga (Greatest mod for Civ IV made by MaxRiga), didn't I?
