It may be an old game, but it is extremely fun when you haven't played it in a long time. The game's tank combat, and infantry fighting was kind of Gay, and naval combat was annoying. If you noticed because the tank bullets curve down, that makes them howitzers, howiter artilley guns do that, not tanks. Tanks shoot straight. But aside from that, the Air-Combat was amazingly great. Not only fun, but also semi-realistic, cause you could play from the cockpit. It seems like the game was a flight simulator with tanks. Considering the detail level of textures and flora+fauna.

It also had 2 expansion packs, the road to rome, and secret weapons. They were pretty cool i guess, but they didnt really add much things, the US Army still uses a 5 Shot Lee Enfield (Yeah, for real), they added the Italian Army, but they only made 1 cool new tank, the Carro Armato M13, but they reversed it, the Cannon is where the MG should be, and the MG is where the Cannon should be, it looks horrible. They did add the Baretta MG which was kind of cool. They added the French army, but gave them British guns, which was stupid.

Forgotten Hope managed to add many new things such as the fact that it has more singleplayer maps than BF1942 altogether. It added hundreds of new vehicles and weapons. Not to mention armies with their appropriate guns.
