First take a moment to search this section of the forum to see if anyone else has the same issue, and a solution has been posted. That could be the absolute fastest way you can fix your problem and get playing.
Be sure to include the version number of the game, found on any of the lobby screens in the lower left corner.
If you still haven't found a solution, then it will be important that we have your PC specs. The easiest way is to send us a dxdiag file when you report a problem.
To do that: - Click on START menu, select RUN. - Type "dxdiag" in the box (without the quotes) and hit enter. - In the window that pops up, click on the "Save All Information..." button. - Select a convenient location to save the information file to. - Send me an email with this file attached. Send it to techsupport@muzzylane.com
Dxdiag will not give us any personal information about your PC, only the technical specifications.
When you report a problem, be as specific as possible. For example, if your game freezes, say exactly which screen it happened on. The more detail, the better. Please post in the forum also, even if you include the information with your dxdiag report in an email. Another player may see your post and have a solution for you, too.
Get the Debugview program HERE and follow the instructions in this thread when you try to reproduce your bug. Send that file, too.
To summarize:
-
Review the forum for an immediate solution
-
Get and install Debugview, and run the game while it is active, saving the results in a text file
-
Run dxdiag to get your computer specs, and save to a text file
-
Send a detailed explanation of the bug, including the version number of your game, and the Debugview and Dxdiag text files, to techsupport@muzzylane.com
Following these steps will greatly speed up response to your technical problem.
