Could we get a legend of all the basic posting necessities? For instance, how to bold, italicize, underline, start a new line of text, etc.

To italicize, put whatever text you want in between asterisks.

*text

end text*

To Bold, put whatever text you want in between two asterisks (a lot like italicizing but double the asterisks).

**text

end text**

To start a new line, you have to double space (meaning hit enter twice)

As for underlining, I haven't a clue.

To underline, you apparenlty need at least three of these. -

Like that. Or at least for A line...

Keep in mind, you need to press enter twice. If you don't, apparently THIS will happen...

EXAMPLE -

And that's just one!

And there was a way to get the words very big and yellow. Did it sometime by accident...

Look at Markdown in Wikipedia for examples!

That sounds strange...

no, not like this. I will post it when I see it again :).

You got to believe me, I saw it once in a post on the mainpage I believe, and I did it once myself by accident... I'll try to find it....

Are you sure its not just on the little screen that you see. When you go to bold, on the preview post above the typing box, the letters show up as yellow.

Ummm, nvm, its not working. Yeah well, thats what happened to me.

Asterisks do some weird things in large numbers. Try using a lot with a word or letter in between and see what happens. It's weird how much they can do and yet with such little variation.

The Add Comment, in the Blogs on the main page. My large Yellow text looks like that. I don't know how to make it anymore :(

Maybe with a lot of asteriks, but I can't reproduce. I accidently found during the making of one of my AAR's.

I figured out how to make the font a lot bigger. Placing an # in front of the font will make it bigger.

Like this

Let me try adding color now...

What now?

Grrr -

Grrrrrr =

Grrrrrrr

Grrrrrrr

Oh yeah, it also enlarges the text when you put a = after the word.

But...now the yellow stuff is a link, right? Only it has no link to follow?! Maybe I did this by accident while trying to post pictures in one of my AAR's. I just don't know anymore how I managed to get the big yellow stuff. I am just not that conficed this is what I mean. Thanks for trying though!
