Great findings! But I would not count the current flag of Iran for Democratic. Government islamism is more of a modern phenomenon.

No he's saying the Interim Government (1979-1980 not till the present) Flag should be the democratic flag, which makes sense as it is a base tricolor without Islamic or any other religious or ideological markings.

Note. You may find it interesting that the SSNP from above is gaining stronger support in Lebanon at the moment.

DEMOCRATIC Republic of Lebanon 1943 to Present.

P.S. Out of curiosity, in MHI such titles where used as Nationalist Spain or Communist China. Would this be something that would appear in MHII? Or will it just be the one name? We know civil wars can happen, and while it is ironically appropriate to have both countries be listed under the same name, it might be a tad bland. And to have titles such as Democratic United Kingdom just do not sit nicely on the tongue.

Would a title for the nation be an idea? E.G. Austria

COMMUNIST Austrian Peoples Republic or Peoples Republic of Austria

FASCIST Austrian State or State of Austria

AUTHORITARIAN Austrian Kingdom or Kingdom of Austria

DEMOCRATIC Austrian Republic or Republic of Austria

Of course this is not perfect, as it doesnt fit with the Kuomintang or the British Constitutional Monarchy. Have the developers thought about anything along these lines? Can any questions be answered?

think so, for an example, nazi germany changes to communism, the flag will change too. Most likely to the DDR flag
