Having trouble using Markdown? If you are, then you're in luck, here is a tutorial.

Bolding you text - To bold your text, put the desired text between two asterisks.

**text goes here**

Italicizing - to Italicize, put your desired text between asterisks, sort of like bolding, but with half the asterisks.

*text goes here*

Linking to other pages - If you want to link your fellow forum members to a particular site, you'll have to do the following:

[text you want for the link; this will be the text displayed in your post. It can be the URL of the website or something like "Don't Press this link, it doesn't go anywhere"](This is where the URL will go, it can only be a URL)

Example:

Don't Press this link, it doesn't go anywhere

To do that link break I just did, just put three underlines in a row __

Pictures - Pictures are very similar to links, you just an exclamation point in front of beginning bracket.

![Title of image, this isn't overly important, you can name it whatever you want](Image URL)

End Result:

LOLCATZATTACK!

To make you text large, place a # in front of the desired text

Example (#Example)

The more #'s you use the smaller the text will get

See?

See?

Coding Syntax -

If you want to show others how to do the stuff I showed you on here, put any text in between two of what ASCII refers to as grave accents (`), it's the character to the left of the 1 key.

Alternately, you can hit the space bar four times (although I'm not sure why you would need to) Example:

This does the same thing without using grave accents

Sadly, we cant use the coding syntax to post XML because it will only show up as [HTML_REMOVED]

Well, that's the coding for all the stuff you will use the most here. For a full tutorial on Markdown, go here.

Thanks for reading!
