I'm trying out a New style with this AAR, i'm going to tell the story of one of my most interesting games in the form of the front page articles from Newspapers of the era. i started out the game playing as Argentina, but i switched around to a few different countries later on, and which ever country im playing as will be represented by the title of the Newspaper. Please keep in mind that even though i switch countries it was only to try playing the war from a different side, never a one turn thing, so even though the events int his game were very unusual (and yes, believe me they are) they were still all the direction that AI took, and not of my influence.
This game actually happened a really long time ago, so i don't remember the dates and don't have screen shots
my style draws very heavy inspiration from both Dutchie and his AAR "The Dutch Empire" and Dizzle and his AAR "World on Fire". both of which i highly recomend

International News:
Nanking - representatives from the Republic of China and Germany met today in the Chinese Financial and military capital of Shanghai to discuss the possibilities of German military aid in organizing and developing the Chinese Army, which for years has suffered from being fractured by the individual treaties between local warlords and the government. among topics discussed was a German Aid program towards china consisting of free shipments of Coal and Metals in return for Military access for for German units within Chinese territory. Although, Germany claims the purpose of these programs is to aid China in their battle against communist rebels in the Shaanxi province, Germany's other Asian ally: Japan, claims that China will use this aid for a military reconquest of Manchurian, a Japanese ruled province in northern China. This dispute has highlighted the growing rift between Japanese and Italian fascists on one side, and German National Socialist on the other. A rift that that has also brought Germany closer to its former enemies such as England and France, who have as a result loosened up military restrictions on Germany set during Versailles.
In other international news
Madrid - Fascist Rebels led by Francisco Franco have begun an assault on the government owned port of La Coruna in Northwest Spain.
Belgrade - Yugoslav authorities once again made a statement today accusing the Italian military build up on the Istrian peninsula of being constructed as an invasion force aimed at Yugoslavian land.

i actually just came back on because i realized that i should add a note about that lol i very sorry.
my idea draws very heavy inspiration from both Dutchie and his AAR "The Dutch Empire" and Dizzle and his AAR "World on Fire". this mod offers only a very different story from those two mods, and like i said before probably one of the most unusual games I've ever played, but is written and their style, as deeply admire it.
in light of my mistake I'd like to ask firstly if you are willing to accept my apology, Dutchie, and secondly if your willing to allow me to continue with this mod in this style. once again i apology for the perception that i am stealing your idea

Hahaha nice to hear this, Sword_Beach, but you really don't have to be so formal about this. My point is that I saw your idea, and thought about my own war-headlines part in my AAR and I wondered if you got any inspiration from my AAR. Actually, I experience it as an honor that I inspired you. So offcourse, yes, do the headlines type of AAR, I don't need any apology. I'm curious about what it will become. You may borrow my idea. I gets me wondering if I should do more war-headlines myself.

Nacion de Argentina 1936:
Major Protests in Uruguay Against Proposed Acts of Union
MONTEVIDEO - The capital city of Uruguay was rocked today by large scale protest against a proposed bill that would bring the nation into a temporary economic and military union with Argentina. Police confirmed the death of two protesters, but stressed that this incident was due to an automobile accident, not clashes with the police. Supporters of the union, Argentine immigrants; leaders in the government; and the rural population; claim that a union would benefits both countries, and that an integrated market would allow the two nations to stand up next to larger economies in Europe and North America. Many Uruguayans however, worry that entering a union with with Argentina would be sacrificing much of their nations autonomy. Although heads of the government in Montevideo are prepared to go ahead with the union, Chile and Brazil have both made statement that they are prepared to act on the behalf of the citizens of Uruguay, should the unpopular bill be put forth.
In Other News:
VIEDMA- Officials of the Patagonian Oil Corporation have declared a lucrative new bill to export significant amounts of Petroleum to Germany and Bolivia.
YIBIN- Chinese army commanders based at the city of Yibin in the Szechwan province claimed that communist soldiers based in the occupied Shaanxi region violated the terms of the temporary truce between Nanking and Yenan, an event that could spark a resumption of hostilities between the Nationalist and Communist governments in China.
VIENNA - a national poll held throughout all of Austria confirmed that a huge majority of nation supports annexation by Germany.
(once again all comments and criticisms are appreciated)

(haven't added in a while so here's two big developments)
(This pamphlet was distributed through the streets of major Argentine and Uruguayan cities in mid -1937, it was stamped with the official seal of the Argentine Government)
----Attention Citizens of the Glorious Argentine-Uruguayan Union---------
in the face of dangerous rebel movements, and a war with Chile, the democratically elected government of Argentina and Uruguay has been voluntarily replaced by a coalition of military generals led by Aruto Rawson, which will now exercise benevolent control over many government functions. In order to undermine the attempts of pseudo-patriotic news sources attempting to spread pro-Chile propaganda, and as part of his "War on Misinformation", Rawson has combined all newspaper into one government controlled paper "El Diario Nacional". The production, possession, or circulation of any other newspaper is now illegal.
Good Luck Citizen, and may God bless the noble government of Aruto Rawson

El Diario Nacional: 1937 (four months after Rawson's takeover)
---As Chilean Bombs Massacre Innocent Argentine Civilians in the West, Everyday Citizens Fight Back with Patriotism -
SALTA -- Major cities in the North-west of Argentina, including Salta and San Miguel de Tucuman and even as far as Cordoba, have been enduring brutal Chilean bombing attacks since the beginning of what is being called "The Chilean War of Aggression". However, citizens living in the area report that they are happy to sacrifice their lives to defend the Argentina-Uruguayan Union (Hereby known as Greater Argentina), and have announced that they will not allow the bombing to interfere with their daily lives and their jobs (especially those working in industrial production).
One citizen has even chosen to sacrifice some of his personal in order to write a letter of encouragement to his fellow Argentine's and Uruguayans. Although the full text cannot be printed, the letter reminded each citizen that by staying in their homes they are simply doing exactly what the corrupt Chilean government wants them to. This unnamed citizen even went so far as to recommence to supreme leader Rawson that a law be enacted that will make skipping a work day; saying something that my encourage other citizens not to go to work; or quitting your job without proper reasoning; illegal for those working in industrial and military production. Rawson has listened to this anonymous fountain of wisdom and advice, and passed the Greater Workers Morale law on Thursday, which also extends the the third clause to jail time for any comment that could undermine the efforts of Greater Argentina.
As a further testament to the power of the Rawson government the anonymous writer of the letter has been revealed to be a former communist and anti-government subversive, who was the first to be reformed by a special government reeducation program. These programs are carried out in special centers in remote Patagonia, and will soon become mandatory for all Communists, Subversives, Chileans Sympathizers, and violators of the Greater Workers Morale Law. In other news, the now fully mobilized army has begun operations to occupy regions in southern Chile, as the majority of the Chilean Land Army is holed up in Santiago to protect the cowardly and corrupt president Fortunato Alessandri Palma.
