This thread came into my mind a little while after a multiplayer game I just got out of. I played as Germany, and as the Allies closed in on me, i managed to hold out with my massive army of medium and light tanks. I managed to hold out alone long enough for the US (OliveBlackHawk) to send their massive liberation army.
At the very end of the US liberation of France, i managed to gather around 80-something tanks and began a daring offensive deep into occupied poland, in an attempt to give the USSR(Srbenda19) a hand in liberating their own country.
I managed to make a heroic stand against Britain, Ukraine, France, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Austrialia, and Canada.

Well, I was playing "Fight For The States" or something similar to that effect as a user-created mod. I was the United States. If you are unfamiliar with this scenario, a Facist, Communist, and Authoritarian US has been added and are at war with the United States. Facist US allied with a facist Canada, Communist US allied with USSR, Authoritarian US allied with Authoritarin (?) Mexico. Well, early in the game, they all allied against me, predictably. I tried to fight them, but was pushed back. Just when hope seemed lost, I managed to push them back, conquring Canada and Mexico in my wake. The rebels were destroyed, and all hell pretty much broke loose with the US getting involved in World War 2 due to the USSR joining the Axis. I think, This was a long time ago, and I never finished. Also, I may be confusing this with another game I played.
