Hey Guys.

I've found that it's very difficult to balance oil production with arms production. Is there any way to counter this? An invasion of Persia pisses off the Russians, and invading Venezuela usually results in a D.O.W. from the US.

The best way to deal with is just import lots and lots of oil from the start of the game to hold you off until you can conquer Middle Eastern or Russian sources

Its rather unfortunate that such a unrealistic tactic is the best strategy

But then again its very unrealistic for the demand of 1 oil/turn for every single infantry division

Well, we could import a huge chunk of oil at the very start if it weren't during the Great Depression, therefore the US will hold back resource export and of course France and Great Britain will not help a fascist state. In my humble opinion it is wise to import oil as much as you can and use your huge resources on coal to research and develop syntethic oil, just as the Germans did in real life, otherwise they would have lost the war by 1943
