Warning! Big wall of text! -
Argentinia is the strongest nation in South America in 1936. When I play MH I notice that Argentinia often joins the Axis side, with Brazil reacting by joining the Allied side. I find it weird because Argentinia is a democratic country. Now I think that Argentinia should not join a big Alliance but should start an empire by itself. Not that joinig an Alliance would help in the progress. I will see how far I will get. Do I fail (as I actually did with the Netherlands), or will I get destroyed by future enemies (like with Lithuania)? I hope I will succeed of course. Specifications:

First of all I reorganized the military. The 1st army is divided into the National Army, the Marine Corps, South America Command and West Command. The names illustrate the tasks of the units and the location. Futhermore, I started to expand my oil production and to upgrade Buenos Aires to an advanced city. Santa Fe and Veidma are being upgraded to 10 IPU cities. Cordoba will remain at 12 IPU's at the moment. Also I started to contruct basic defensive infrastructure in all regions. Just like I upgrade all of my food production. My National Fleet will dock in Veidmar, and I made an military acces agreement with Uruguay. Might come in need.
That were all my first orders in week 1.
In week 2 I decided that my large nation should be able to travel through quickly, unlike now, so I started to improve all transportation levels.
November 9, 1936
Beunos Aires is at 50 IPU and advanced. Veidma and Santa Fe are at 10 IPU. Cordoba will now go to 50 IPU as well.
December 1936
My army commanders warned me that the arms supply can only support my MIlitary for another month, but not much longer. After that, my army effectiveness will be affected.
January 1936
The Parlament is worried about the arms supply. Next week there won't be any arms left in supply. Also, I grow a big Debt with all my improvements. But I assured them that becoming a big power will cost money. And we do not have a penalty yet, so no worries.

good luck with the new AAR. but why to sign a military access agreement with Uruguay? You already have borders with the Brazilian region which makes border with Uruguay.

Because I like to have military acces as much as possible. Might come in handy you know. IN this case it probably is useless, but better to much then that I miss it some time later.

For example, I can station airforce, which I do not have at the moment, in Uruguay. When my borderregion with Brazil is overrun, I can still attack targets in both my homeland and in Brazil.
But this is hypothetically speaking.
I don't know which nation I will take first, and if I ever will use the acces into Uruguay. But I like to keep my options open you know.

And I do not hae the gold version, I only got the original MH. But wiht the mod World Aflame I can play with partisans. It is more realisticc, although resistance forces spawn very quickly in my opinion. Charlie out. 5 o'clock in the morging now, so I'm off to bed :)

this brings me back to my colombian campaighn. 300 power points. too bad i made myself an enemy to the world. at least they have no intention of nuking me. and my alliance is doing well. (complete naval dominance of the south pacific via New Zealand and Indonesia (australia being new zealand's territory) btw i forgot about a brazilian city. produced 140 some odd conscript infantry. lol.

My plans:
All levels of infrastructure, food production and fortifications to level 4.
Military should have a Navy:
National Fleet, Coastal Defence, Reserve/Repair Fleet
Military should have an Army:
National Army, North Command, South Command, West Command, East Command, Reserve Army, South America Command, Capital Defence, Marine Corps
Military should have an Airforce:
National Airforce, North Command, South Command, West Command, East Command, Capital Defence, Reserve Airforce.
That is my focus for the time being.
Futhermore, I won't bother any financial problems anymore. I will bring my country to a higher level. It will cost a lot of money, but that will be considered as a sacrifice to the higher needs. Also the results of the financial deficit will be noticed, but not evaded.

My ground- and naval forces are set up like the plan. Also, I send to Uruguay a division, to let my people train in different conditions and to establish a coordinated military strucutre so that my military can work together with the Uruguayian military easilly. I only have to make myself an airforce now. But that will take some time. My military penalty is increasing because I do not produce enough arms. Well...it is what is.

I dont have gold. I have just the original MH, but I downloaded the mod World Aflame ( I think it is that one). That mod is MH, but with some minor improvements and with Partisans (always) on

Peru, Bolivia, Chili and Paraguay heard about the military cooperation between me and Uruguay. They want that too, so we signed a military acces agreement with them too. Paraguay has no army so we train their police force in military disciplines. Chili will be a bigger challenge, because we will do the same as with Uruguay, only their army is way bigger. I send my West Command to Chili to develop the high command cooperation. The National Army will replace them. South America Command (SAC) will go to Paraguay. Peru and Bolivia will have to wait. In other news: Brazil is just one power point behind me. And I am the nation with the biggest debt...

I noticed that for some reason I have a very good relationship wih Germany (900). But a military acces agreement is not what they want.
April 1938
With all nations in South America, except for the colonies of the european nations and Brazil, we decided to establish a free movement of all forces from Argentinia.
I said, I like to keep my options open... :)
September 1938
France declared war on Germany. Germany and Bulgaria formed the German Alliance. I am producing transport ships now.
October 1938
I have now a military acces agreement with (the almost died) Nationalist Spain. The British Alliance and France joined and are now together at war with Germany. I think I don't like those germans either...
November 1938
The Germans broke the french defense lines at Alsac-Lorraine, and is now racig through France. Italy joined the German Alliance
December 1938
France mainland is conquered by Germany and Italy.
February 1939
USSR declared war on Poland. The British Alliance declared war on USSR. USSR joined the German Alliance. I finished light bomber reseach.
March 1939
I am making an army called Europe Command. Czechoslovakia Surrendered to Germany.
April 1939
Poland surrendered. Germany declared war on Norway. I am sending 3 divisions (Europe Command) towards the West Coast of Norway. Always wanted my own skihut. Japan joined the German Alliance, therefore China joined the British Alliance.
May 1939
Republican Spain and the Netherlands formed an Alliance, against the Germans, and offcours, against Nationalist Spain. They now merged with the British Alliance. My Europe Command (EC) 1st Army is now heading towards Spain. Romania joined the British Alliance.
July 1939
Soon I will launch my attack on the British Alliance. Albania and hungary are now against the germans.
August 1939
I took Rio Del Oro and Spanish Guinea from Republican Spain, and Trondelag from Norway.

USA joins the war against Germany. I did not choose a side untill now. Maybe I should start from Panama all the way up to the US, to see what I am capable of... I started to attack regions in Africa. It is not a great succes, but I disrupt France and South Africa a bit.
January 1940
I conqeured Cost Rica and Nicaragua. Now I have to take Honduras, El salvador and Guatamala to start my war into Mexico. After that, I can take US :) I have acces to Latin America. It is one way, because I made military agreements. You see, it might become helpfull to ask for these in the early stages of the game.
March 11, 1940
War with Brazil. They did not wanted us to take Panama. Tsss. I invade Brazil from Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentinia. They will not know what hit them.
April 29, 1940
I am losing my battle with Brazil. I gave the region Gran Chaco to Uruguay, so I do not border Brazil anymore. So I can build upt my army to invade Brazil at the right time.

May 1940
I lost all of my navy in a battle with Brazil. I retreated from every battle with them too. I prepare a new invasion. Venezuela Embargoed me. Maybe I should use them in a distraction attack...
A year later.... I am doomed. I just can not win from the Brazilian, Dutch and French forces combined. They are also supported by american fighters... I am just doomed. I have no military capabilities anymore. I am fighting a hard battle to take Honduras! Wtf, honduras, supoorted by all of its allies is just untakeable. I retreat, hold quiet and wait what time will bring. Will it be an allied invasion in Argentinia, or will the axis grow large and succeed. I am getting frustrated by this situation.
