Alright, what is the deal in MH1 with oil?
Seriously, you had damned well better control one of the few great oil fields in the game, because it seems like NOBODY is selling it, or if they are, selling enough of it. Big problem in my attempt to play as Italy.

I think that Oil should actually have a bigger part in the game than it already does. In MH at this point, Oil is basicly only a resource, and your tanks don't need Oil to maintain which makes oil about as usefull as coal and/or metals
You need oil to produce arms, and oil is hardto come by, since nobody sells more than a few units. The only countries that never have a problem with it are US and USSR.

The problem with oil is a problem of scale
You need way too much for your infantry (supply trucks don't use that much oil), and not nearly enough for your tanks, military vehicles, planes, and ships

Needs some kind of distribution process.
