Franco isn't alive, he died when his army crossed the Strait of Gibraltar. His officer in second command was an international volunteer for the fascist cause. No one knows his real name, only the nation of origine was known. Therefore he was called by his nickname, which was 'Dutchie'. He took over control of the armies of Nationalist Spain. His job was to win the war, the civil war with Republican Spain. When that will be done, he could do whatever he pleased to do. And so does the story begin.....

3 days after the coup, which started in Spanish Marocco, we now have a clear view of our forces and who is the enemy. This concludes in my first order: take the region Granada, it is not defended. When I gave that order, it was not clear what the name of the unit was which would execute the order. So I decided to change all names into logical names. Now we have Capital Defence in the region of Burgos, National Army (and the National Airforce) in Andalusia, and the Franco Army in Spanish Marocco. National Army wille execute my first order. My National Fleet is moving to the port of La Coruna.
I order my cities to produce arms and goods. The people of spain should be able to life normally and my soldier should be able to fight. Still, I need help from the resource market, and I hope my requests will be fullfilled soon. The first few months will consist of much fighting and chaos, so I will get back to you when that is done.

I lost my airforce in the battle of Granada. But the distraction was a succes! We captured the region of Barcalona. Now we have more IPUs then Republican spain. Now I will hold my ground and stabilize the situation. Then I will crush 'em!
March 29 1937
Victory! After 9 months of fighting Madrid is ours and we defeated all the Republicans on the main land. Only the African colonies are not under our control, but will soon be. Now we focus on building up the country.

and the battle goes on...
Really, the battle goes on. Although I defeated the Republican Armies in Spain, there is still a carrier of them with enough planes to hurt every week again. And my navy...well....that is gone. When did that happen? When I managed to send 1/3 of the France Army in Morocco to the spanish mainland. Just after the troops safely landed at the shore, my navy, which was there to protect the troops, got attacked by a naval fleet 5 times as strong. I have to say I only had like 2 destroyers or something.
So now I have to think of a solution for this situation, and I think I will make corvettes. Not the cars, but the ships. The biggest reason is that I cannot produce light bombers, because I do not have the required research done. 15 weeks to produce a corvette... Until then, I have to move my troops around to prevent them getting destroyed...
To please all leaders around me, I send my delicious spanish Tapas (Spanish food, really good) to all the the presidential palaces and premiers housholds. The respons I get from them is good, and so I am working on my reputation. I might use it later. Downside: I give away a few food units every week, but the benefit is better relations with the axis and allies.

The planes of the republicans are gone. And they are not anymore at the carrier, so scouts tell me. Are they all destroyed during acciddents? Weird. I did not shoot down any of them, although I tell my troops I did. Is good for the Morale (Damn, still no morale in MH. I'll wait for MH2 then....).

All my cities are 10 IPUs now. I am now going to research motorized infantry. I have to think of future conflicts in Europe, and then I need to be able to move fast. I will take 60 IPUs, and I have 7 cities. This will be an industrial effort, a big one.

Anschluss of Austria with Germany.

Goods supply level: 49%. The people are the strenght (and support) of the country and its government. The should be satisfied at all costs. This time the cost will be that the research progress will be downsized with half. All to support my people.

The French Alliance merged with the bigger British Alliance. I have researched Motorized Infantry. Just in time it seems, although I cannot do anything yet. And Poland will be lost anyway, because the British Alliance does not border the USSR, and can only do naval attacks...

Wow, it looks like Poland is holding off the soviets. It took back regions after the USSR broke the defenses. Interresting to see. Maybe it is because Romania helped them out (with a 'second' front)? Italy and Hungary joined the German Alliance. The British Alliance declared war on the German Alliance. I think I will join the British Alliance soon.

haha..ok funny. I just was thinking that I had to join the war against Germany to steal some regions from it, or from Italy. France has Wurtemberg now, so chances are there. Then I get 50 units of coal as aid from Germany sent to me. I think I wait for a few weeks before I act.

Czechoslovakia has surrendered to Germany and Hungary. Hungary is twice as large as it was. Maybe this will give Germany troops it needs to hold the french of them. Romania has been defeated by Bulgaria (twice as large now too) and the USSR. The USSR will defeat Poland. After that, it does not have an enemy anymore. Maybe then it will declare war to the Germans too.

Germany took back Wurtemberg and is now attacking France. USSR is rushing through Poland. I am still in doubt if I should join the axis or the allies.

Poland is divided between the USSR, Germany, Italy and Hungary. Also, Germany is rushing through France now. I think I will join the axis. In a few weeks, to be sure. I start the production of the mobile infantry now.

I am at war with France and the British Alliance now. I invade France right away. Also, I try to advance into Africa and the British forces in Gibraltar Proper.

ohhh.... France made peace with Germany. I am at war with the British Alliance and with the French Alliance. The French are together with Republican Spain.

I founded Morocco. Am fighing a hard battle with the British in Gibraltar Proper. And, I joined the German Alliance, bringing it back into war with France. The French Alliance merged with the British.

Ahhh...the British landed in Navarre and Asturias. 130 Combat Power (CP) in total. I hope the 313 CP strong german army, which is heading for Gibraltar Proper, will turn north now.
