Hi guys! This is my first time taking part in WWII as a minor nation, and I just want to see the do's and dont's.

This time, I'm playing as Hungary. Besides learning to play as a minor nation, I want to see if I can get Hungary to be an actual help to the Axis.

I start the game in bad economic and military shape. With only one city, I cannot hope to do much. I immediately begin producing basic infantry, and when metal becomes available on the market, light tanks. Finally, I am ready. I send my entire army into Yugoslavia. By picking them off a few armies at a time, by strategicly maneuvering through their territory , they are in complete disarray. Ehen they finally regroup, they hold only one territory on the west coast. Easy victory. We lose only one division in the entire campaign.

A bit of industrialization work is done, goods are produced, and everything is in the green except for arms and oil, though I have a stock of 85 oil. The economy is stable, but I'm not done yet. In the next three weeks, Bulgaria is taken. My armies return victorious. Germany conquers Austria, and attacks Czechoslovakia as well. I see this opportunity, and go for it. I swallow up the eastern half of Czechoslovakia without a fight. At this point, I forged an alliance with Germany and Italy.

After some military buildup, Germany invades Poland. And I'm right at the border when it happens. I am able to take much of souther Poland, capturing the majority of the oil resources. And then, I do what allies often do. I steal Warsaw right out from under Germany's nose!

Germany invades the Baltic States and Denmark, causing a US, UK, and French DOW, all on the same turn that Poland unconditionally surrenders. Romania joins our alliance. Germany moves into France, and France surrenders, keeping, what was historically, Vichy France. The west coast, and much of southern France. We even got military access, resulting in Germany's conquest of Spain.

As the British and US navies conquer the Mediterranean, I convert my army into a coastal defense force. I would conquer Greece, but I don't want more coastline to defend. Then, and I swear I'm not making this up, The US and UK start attacking the French. I saved at that point, I'll play some more tomorrow. Here's a pic of my current territory.

Not much went on for the next while.

Japan joined our alliance, and the USSR conquered China and India, though they didnt join our alliance. I made lots of arms, but now nobody is selling oil. Thats a big problem with this game, oil is too hard to get.
