What if water could burn?
What if the American government hadn't cut funds to NASA?
What if Germany fell to the communists instead of the Nazis in the 1920s/30s?
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
1) then there would be no need for crude oil
2)than the united states would have founded the UNSC and invented an alien race to anhilate
3)than there would be no communism (ww2 vs communists instead and democracy always wins so there!)

Do you know why Soviets never gone to the moon? Because it is totally unneeded, it's just burning your money! What Russia wants is Mars, where live is possible. Did you hear of Grigoriy Vladimir's plan about the colonization of Mars? First they use the machine that turns gas into water (this already exists) and place a huge machine on Mars. They also prooved that there are bacteries on Mars. So they make a non-salt sea and they put fishes in there, they plant waterplants in the water and trees by the water. time goes and there comes rain and the machine is producing more and more water(toxic gasses are turing into water) and trees are producing O2. Fishes become part of the sea, seaplants are growing and over about 10 years life is possible in that area. Forget to say that first you have to close that area with a huge force-field or just plastic cilinder/ cube... then people can live there. And they make places like this everywere on Mars and connect them by tubes and now they can start ranches and over a 100 years I think they could make all these areas protected by one plastic cilinder and so on till Mars is human. All these things are very possible now and if there would be no wars and less money gone to militairy and other unneeded things like tv (you'd better read a book).

i'm not entirely shure wether you're joking so i'll pretend you're serious.
it would actually be easier to set up a colony on the moon because it's closer, mars was once an earth-like habitable planet, but it had no tectonic plates, so all the crap inside mars went outside, slowed the cores rotation, colapsing mars's electromagnetic field, destroying it's ozone, turning it into an iron skined rock, with no notable atmosphere, and very little resources, everything on mars would have to be shipped from earth, the soil currently on mars will not support plant life, so you'll need to bring you're own dirt, and nitrogen fertilizers, and water, as most of mars's water is buried underground as ice, not to mention that mars is as cold as anti-hell, because without a molten rotating core, there is no geothermal energy to keep the planet habitable, it means you'll need you're own nuclear reactor to power all the heaters for a city, and god help you if said reactor goes all chernobyl on you're ass! as we'll starting up the core is impossible, you would need to drill in like a million diferent places, reaching down into the very outer core of mars, so you can drop some of the biggest nukes ever, so you could heat up the interior of mars enough that it can start moving, but that doesn't fix the problem that the material that made up the outer core, and mantle, were all shot outward by centrifugal force, so you'll also need to stuff all the metal from the outside of mars back into it's thermonuclear core, and finally, you'll need to blast you're own faultline so that this incident never happens again.
i think the russians would be better off just spending that money building a ballistic missile deffense, than invading one of their neighbors and use that land as apposed to trying to jump start a planet!

...Dude, really? I just pose a simple What if question, and you give me a freaking lecture? By the way, I see no reason for the Soviet Union to have not gone to the moon. The Space Race between the US and USSR was pretty intense, and each side was deternmined to show supremacy over the other. The Soviets sent up a satelite, a dog, even a human. All in an effort to say "F*** you, America. We're better than you." A moon landing would have only further cemented Soviet dominance in space. But it's not an issue, because we beat them up there. I'd counter all of your points, but I see no need.

not to laugh with US, but because of all things about other civlizations in space we don't know. Area 51? And a bunker on Mars? Never heard about?? Why??? They don't want to show it to people. They started with cartoons and books and UFO's. So in 10 years no one will fear aliens... And then I think everyone will see the thruth.

But a reason that Area 51 is secret is because it's an airbase for experimental purposes, when you have sensitive stuff, there is a reason to keep it secret.
