I noticed that none of the American factions were actually allied with outside countries. In the future if you wanted to make another version of this make each faction already allied with an outside nation. This would increase the conflict not only in the US but around the world too. Anyway I really enjoyed this one good job.

I thought about that but honestly I felt it gave too much advantage to certain factions (Union mostly). Also I didn't want to make the WWII start so early (1936). I basically wanted to make the American civil war act like the civil war in Spain. They get financial support and have good relations with a certain country but they aren't allied and mostly likely wouldn't go to war over it.
But it is an option for another version of this. I'll have to think about it.
