Is it like before (in MH1) that when you upgrade a city (the option light industry until advanced industry) to get more IPUs the look' of a city will change to the according 'image'? Because when I read the article, it seems like you have to 'make' (for example a mechanized factory out of a cottage factory... So, is is quit the same as in MH1, or is it a different way of upgrading your cities?

And, what about the 'better' food? Did someone explained in a report or something, because it is the first time I hear about it. Why should it be more valuable then the 'regular' food.

Also, the productions facilities like the ammunition and airbase. The article says we can destroy them to not let the enemy take it over from us. Does that take like 1 turn? Or is it more like it will be blowed up by some TNT and so it is instandly destroyed?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

In the original, when you upgraded a city the model of the entire city changed to reflect that upgrade. In MHII, as you add these facilities a model of the building will add to your city. If you destroy one of these buildings (for example an aircraft factory) that piece of the city will be destroyed and you won't be able to produce aircraft until it's rebuilt.

The food facility increases the overall output of food, it doesn't make "better" food.

I love this stuff. Lots of buildings and installations were the staple of the Civ series and its great to have a bigger choice for WW2. I'm wondering if its possible to custom name a cities buildings in the game?

But, what I still don't get is this: How do you get those new factories/industries? [1]When you select a city and say 'upgrade this city', or [2] do you select the city and say build me a mechanized factory(and after some time it will be there)? And then would [1] be like in MH1.

?

For the buildings it is like just say you want them in a city and it will take some time and you will have it, right?

Select city production and the buildings are listed on a menu. As you research, more options for more advanced buildings become available.

Why was the Food Processing Plant not put into the game?

It will likely be in a future patch. The idea is that it will work similar to the way the Synthetic Fuel Plant does where the city could produce Food as an output. Conceptually this represents a higher level of preservation of food and less waste.

Cool!!! This is very important for small but very industrialized nations. Food + Coal = Many Food!
