Will there be a easier editor scenario download (just a better way to get your scenarios out of the editor cause icould never find out how to get y scenarios out of there or even uploading them) and can there be easeir ways to getting flags on your scenario kinda like just copying the flag and pasting it in a open slot with that nations name?

When you liberate a country and it becomes your ally, there should be an option to give them all the technology you have at the time of liberation, or something like that. In Gold, it blows when you liberate countries like Vietnam, the Philippines, or India late in the game and they mass produce basic infantry to fight advanced tanks.

I just want countries to worry about their economy rather than just mass producing units.

Things I want for MH2 (I know several will be off):

  • Editable map - so we can make scenarios like Battle for Middle Earth.
  • Much better AI which can handle better sea-to-land attacks.
  • 3D models easier to edit (Nifscope is terrible!) - specially the animations.
  • More documentation (what we can do with the game, how to do it).
  • Some different ability for the artillery, like bombard an adjacent territory. This would make possible to implement coastal artillery, naval bombardment and the siege artillery.
  • To be easier to make events, war plans, etc.
  • More tools and plug-ins to make our life easier (for instance, a program that take a flag and make all the files flag-related).
  • To buy, sell and give units (Military Market) and technology.
  • The possibility to make nuclear ICBMs (for a cold war scenario) and to release nuclear weapons on units.
  • Toxic gas (no idea how it could work).
  • Unit abilities (for instance, mountain troops get bonus when fighting in mountains; AT units get bonus against tanks, etc.).
  • Fortification units, like AA batteries, sea mine field, patriots, etc.
  • Multi-language support.
  • In game voice chat.
  • Support for Steam (so we can call our friends to play).

I have something:

  1. relation to other countries is better and becomes better faster than on mh1, on MH1 it nearly only gets poorer!

  2. Al that not only makes basic infantry all the time and that the Al is attacking more realistic and sometimes retreat.

  3. More regions to Norway and some other countries

Ideologies! I know that the four types of government in the game are historicly accurate for being a World War 2 strategy simulator. I would just like to have maybe two or three more types of government to make things intresting. Like in Sid Meiers Civilization series there was a number of different governments and all of them had there weaknesses and strengths.

Haha, I always pick Slavery and Nationalism as my civics. Nationalism so I can draft units, and Slavery so I can rush buildings.

I agreed. It should be easier (less clicks) to make our divisions to retreat from a combat.

The AI should also be upgraded so that if it's troops are caught in an battle they can not win they should retreat. The AI in MH1 never retreats.

I think it's really important to introduce the ability to swap planes from carrier to carrier.

If i have a supercarrier which is damaged but with it's airforce in perfect condition, and another carrier which is intact but with air force crippled, i have to bring both carriers to my port, instead of simply bringing the planes on the healty carrier and send the other one back to repair...

It shouldn't be too difficult, and it seems quite relevant if compared to the power (and the cost!) of a carrier.

ralph said the planes of a carrier will be separate units from the carrier itself

So that capability is probably already in the game

I hope to see the rest of the E series, Panther 2, King Tiger, more research for the types of tanks (for example medium tanks such as the Panzer IV were constantly upgraded and this should be shown in research like improve the main gun, improved armour), helicopters, infantry using improved weapons and as such the effects should be shown in battles (Germans with stg44's against an enemy using pre war bolt action rifles have a huge advantage), the Wirbelwind, Ostwind and Kugelblitz, infra-red and night vision technology, doctrines, the ability of better tactics changing outcome of battles, infantry support mobile artillery (such as Wespe and Hummel) SSM's and SAM's, elektroboot, nuclear submarines, specific country abilities like Germany should have an advantage with tanks and tactics and the skill of their army and this can be countered by the sheer numbers of the allies, and Japan to make huge and powerful ships like the largest battleship ever Yamato, worlds largest ever aircraft carrier Shinano, and the huge Sen Toku-class I-401 submarines what carried three planes which it was capable of launching. Having said this I understand the makers would be hard pressed to put all this in but one can hope

I agree with the E series, however, if you are asking about the PZKW IV, these should just be upgrades as the guns already existed, these should be a question type thing, of do you want to upgrade your medium tanks, a new tank gun used in the Panther is now available. Otherwise you will most likely be presented with other research options of Improved Medium Tanks, Advanced Medium tanks and so on, this we do not need, another series of research that will take you 60 to 80 turns to accomplish. The improved weapons I think already exists with your Advanced Infantry unless you want another research category such as Late War Infantry. If it is to introduce the infra-red system, then I think I will have to agree, because those systems can make a huge difference on the battlefield. The infantry support vehicles are already in existence or should be with the Improved Mechanized and Advanced Mechanized infantry categories. I think one category that might be added would be tank destroyer/anti-tank gun research technology as well as research into improved ammunition for these weapons. The Yamato and Shinano I think are already addressed with Advanced Battleships and Super Carriers. Though I think the Sen Toku-class I-401 submarines are a good idea because now we would have an opportunity with Submarines being able to unfog regions. This should also be extended to capital ships and heavy cruisers as these type ships were armed with seaplanes and catapults, air search with these units was much used during the war.
