The people involved in logistics. If it wasn't for them those 'sexy' tanks, rifles and planes would be useless.

Croatia, probably the most loyal ally in the Axis.

How are/were they "hero's"?!

They were among the most brutal ones, however! Even Nazis cringed at the atrocities committed by Croatian fascist against other minorities!

There is only a few heros; the innocents who died are the voices of the war, the innocent who survives and suffers.

They are the true heros.

Not in the eyes of the media. And in this modern world, the media reigns supreme.

that doesn't change wether they are hero's are not. the media cannot make decisions about what reality is. reality is not a matter of perception (all though what we believe reality is is based on perception. i geuss what i really need to know is wether heroism is a reality or a perception. is heroism an action, or how others compare you're action to others, and is it solely based on their perception? can one be a hero even if no one notices? i like to think yes. you can be a hero, and have the entire world hate you (it is usually a sighn that you are either really good or really bad at you're job (assuming being a hero is you're job))
