That is an excellent suggestion. Attacking an enemy occupied area from more than one direction should give a signifigant boost to the attackers strength since the defenders are now stretched along two or more fronts.

-Death to the superstacks! Set a limit of units per stack plz, maybe by adding an expensive HQ/General-unit which allowes the double of the limit, maybe a maximum of 30 units per pile then!

They should add a flanking bonus in this game. Like if you are in a battle and you attack from behind them or attack the region behind then get a bonus for doing so. Good idea. This is a recognised and successful operational doctrine and should be reflected in the game.
