Trade question

Hi,

I was trying the demo and wanted to export a resource to a country. I was the US and tried to trade with Great Britain by doing a direct trade with nation (not the World Market). My attempt to trade was rejected. It didn't give a reason.

Was this because they didn't need the resource or didn't have the money to pay for the resource? Could it be because of the relationship between the 2 countries?

Other than trial and error, is there a way to see what countries are interested in trading (direct nation to nation trade)?

The best way to know if a country wants to buy what you are selling is first go to the world market and see if they have a request on the market for the resource you are trying to sell. If they have a request on there they will deffinetly buy from you through direct negotiation.

Thanks. That is a good tip.
