I have a few questions about the beta first of all the limits of it what can't we do on the beta that will be available in on the hard copy of the game. Second closed or open? Third, Multiplayer capabilities in the beta will we see some of this "revolutionary" multiplayer system we have been hearing about?

Muzzy Lane hasn't given a date for the open beta for those that pre-ordered it

I believe they said after the closed beta is over

How long do you have to get into the pre-order and participate in the beta? Is there a cut off date or could I basically wait until the week before the game releases and jump in at the point and still be able to get access to the beta? Thanks!

No but cant be too far off since pax east is over and release is less than two months away. I would guess in the next 30 days but I hope sooner.

I have my pre-order in with Gamer's Gate and am awaiting the start of open beta. Does anyone know how I will know that beta has started? Will Gamer's Gate send me an email?

Just realise that the Mid-East is part of Asia. I knew of course, but people talk about it like it is a continent itself.

What is/was your function over there? And, next to Pakistan, or more near Damascus? Sorry for the questions, just curious.

Helmand is pretty intense right now, isn't it? Do you use a SA-80 or a M4? In other words, I do not know what unit the 1/6 is, so are you part british forces or american forces. I do not know other nations who participate in Helmand. Ever been to Camp Holland, or...Camp Hadrian, or met any other Dutch soldiers? They are based in Uruzgan, but will leave later this year.
