Nevermind *edits post
I found it, I had to go around digging through all the folders that windows finds. My sound folder is here, thanks for putting me in the right direction though!
C:\ProgramData\Muzzy Lane\Making History II\1b9d3f7df901cf420a8e154e053dc77e\modules\ml\ui data\sound\1.0\sounds\music
I'm going to be using Making History II music to replace the MHI music then.
Since I'm unsure if the mod is super great in it's current state, it's still not completely finished obviously, but I just want to get some feedback before I release the thing. This will be a test.
Here are the questions. If you get them both right, I give you a link to download the mod:
What was the mod pack that I released that contained all my WW2 based mini-scenarios?
and
What is the name of the realism mod for MHGold that I announced a couple months ago?
PM me with your answers, and if you get both of them right, you get a download link. Keep in mind, only a single person will win. Good luck.
First question:
Dawn of the War
Second question:
Cold War Mod

Valerii got both questions correct. And I didn't even think anyone remembered my Dawn of the War mod, but apparently people did.
The correct answers were:
What was the mod pack that I released that contained all my WW2 based mini-scenarios?
The Blitzkrieg Unleashed
What is the name of the realism mod for MHGold that I announced a couple months ago?
Dawn of the War (Chaos Rising is also accepted)
Good job Valerii, I'll upload it to filefront, and send you the link!
Guess what just happened guys!
I just found this giant bug where Oman is all fucked up, I've loaded it in DebugView and it says "Found player data belonging to "Oman" but there wasn't a Player named that"
So I thought I should delete every trace of Oman possible so I can just remake the country in the editor. Turns out the game wasn't so happy about that, and decided to make the scenario un-openable in the editor. So, I loaded it up again in DebugView, and still, it's the same stuff.
And now... ugh.. I'm being forced to revert ALL OF MY LATEST PROGRESS. ALL OF THE MODELS. ART. EVERYTHING WILL BE GONE.
I was even going to surprise everyone by releasing the scenario today, well, now it'll take the rest of the month to redo all of my progress.
Also, you know what that means Valerii, you aren't going to get WFO. Nobody is, not until release now.
I guess I'll start back up again... :'(
(Sorry for the triple post)

Is that fixable?
I'm just going to restart the thing, much faster, even if it is fixable. But, to my knowledge, it's unfixable. I've deleted every trace of Oman in the scenario's files, there's nothing else I can do. I'll just go back to the latest version I have. Which is the beta version, on page 1 of this thread.
Using my uber-magic abilities with MH, I was able to save the entire scenario. The issue was due to Vista, and I knew it had to do with something of my computer sorts all along. Anyways, that Oman issue was due to me accidentally deleting it in the editor, I don't know how it happened but it did, but miraculously, I managed to find a solution, and progress is back on track.
It will probably be released sometime tomorrow, or wednesday. All I need to do is update armies, balance industry, and that sort of stuff, and then. Glory.
New Europe

Isnt it perty? I changed colors using samples from Orange Dawn and Deadlock. Took quite a bit.
What's REALLY, REALLY, ghey is that I edited the industry of pretty much the entire world, and I got only bullshit from the MH Editor, which spat in my face, crashed, and lost all my progress. I'm so mad, I'm not even going to be working on the scenario through the editor at all for now.
Imma goto sleep, it's 2:00 and there's a long day of coding ahead.

The editor isn't that shitty, I find it really usefull for doing basic stuff such as adding resource producers, research, factory outputs, armies, and new nations. Imagine if you had to do that all with XML only, that would be torture.
Anyways, everythings back to normal... again... I fixed that little bug, it was Ideology related, what's also bad about it was that I had to edit ideologies manually through XML, and that really ticks me off because I'm used to doing that in the editor.
Thank god the MHII editor will be better. I hope they remember my suggestion of using a paintbrush to designate which regions are controlled by a nation, so you can just click and drag over the map. Now that = win.
I need 4.. no, 3 ideas for playable nations.
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Germany
- Italy
- France
- Russia
- China
- Japan
- Israel
- Iran
- Canada
- Turkey*
- Brazil
- India
- Sweden*
- Spain*
- Poland*
a * indicates a new playable nation.
All the playable nations are there for multiplayer experience, well, most of them are, so that more than just 8 people can play together online.
I'm adding a bit of extra spice to the scenario's storyline as well.
Due to the drop in oil reserves, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and Poland, have not been able to keep up with the economic stability of the smaller nations such as Belgium, and Greece, who do not need oil as much as the majors do. The EU has collapsed due to economic chaos, and the smaller nations of the EU that have kept economic stability have formed the European Trade Federation. After the oil shortage, the economic depression in the United States only got worse, gas and oil prices have skyrocketed, and days where there are many cars on the road are rare, as nobody can afford gas to drive them. This type of economic hell, has only just begun for the major world powers. China, has somehow managed to stay relatively stable in economic terms, this is mainly due to the large oil sources in China itself, as China doesn't need to purchase as much oil as the United States does, it has turned pretty rich off of oil sales to the US and other nations.
