From 5th to 17th august, I'm visiting Western Europe and I'll be offline. I hope to see WFO, when I return :)

TehBoss, before reliasing WFO, don't forget to fix the Bulgarian flag. The flag in making history is the old kingdom's flag. You can find the REAL bulgarian flag from wikipedia.

Yes, this is the second time you've asked me this, I already fixed it the first time. No need to keep asking. Sorry if I sound angry, it's because I can't reply to you via PM because this site is mostly broken for me now. I can't download anything, and I can't PM most people all due to the Server Error page.

This is just a reminder that this mod is in fact, still completely active:

Proof that Bulgaria's flag is fixed. As for "Communist Korea", I'm thinking of replacing them with "Socialist Korea" as Communism is no longer in WFO. Fascism has been replaced by Militarism, and Communism has been replaced by Socialism.

As for people who haven't read my previous post on why Europe is now no longer all under the EU. It will be added onto the scenario's description as well:

Due to the drop in oil reserves, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and Poland, have not been able to keep up with the economic stability of the smaller nations such as Belgium, and Greece, who do not need oil as much as the majors do. The EU has collapsed due to economic chaos, and the smaller nations of the EU that have kept economic stability have formed the European Trade Federation. After the oil shortage, the economic depression in the United States only got worse, gas and oil prices have skyrocketed, and days where there are many cars on the road are rare, as nobody can afford gas to drive them. This type of economic hell, has only just begun for the major world powers. China, has somehow managed to stay relatively stable in economic terms, this is mainly due to the large oil sources in China itself, as China doesn't need to purchase as much oil as the United States does, it has turned pretty rich off of oil sales to the US and other nations.

The scenario's story is similar to the game "Frontlines: Fuel of War".

About 90%

Don't worry, it'll be out before you know it, however, bugs aren't an option. Sometimes they might pop up. And I just need to hope they're fixable. Remember the Oman bug? That thing popped outta nowhere, and I had barely any control over it, I needed to revert to an older version as well. If another one of those happens, I'll simpily discontinue work on this because that would erase weeks of hard work.

Too much work :\

I'm more focused on releasing the mod.

I need everyone's opinion on this, just in case some people have slow connections.

Should I split the installer in half? Part 1 being everything but the 3d and 2d art, pretty much without most of the UI folder, and Part 2 being that extra stuff?

Because the scenario is currently 251mb, however when zipped, it's around 85mb

said on Aug 03, 2010 at 01:25 AM

85 should be downloadable for eveyone. I have also a slow connection. But if you want so, do it. Or perhaps

  • 1) full
  • 2) part 1
  • 3) part 2

I think I'll be doing the following:

  • Main Components, making the mod playable) Part 1
  • Added components, adding 2d and 3d art) Part 2

So, technically, you don't even need part 2, because part 1 will include everything the scenario requires to play. Part 2 will only add the 3d models and flags and such.
