It's a really cool addition to MGS4. Basicly, MGO is an multiplayer tactical shooter. And, IMO, one of the best multiplayer experiences I've seen (I've seen alot, trust me).

There are game modes for every type of player. Team Deathmatch, FFA Deathmatch, they're all there! If you're familiar with BC2's class customization, well thats basicly how MGO is, but there are no classes, you basicly pick a primary weapon, secondary weapon, and a projectile (grenade, claymore, C4, etc.). The RIOT shield is also available, but you dont get a primary weapon. So you better pick a damn good pistol as backup. You can also customize your character however you want basicly. If you have a female soldier, you can choose to be the Haven Trooper, oh, if you dont know what that is, it's these kickass chick soldiers with P-90s. It's cool cause you get a futuristic uniform, which is even more kickass.

The best gamemode is Sneaking Mission IMO.

There are, 3 teams basicly. Red vs. Blue. These two teams are at war basicly. Then, a single person gets to play as Solid Snake, who is in a neutral position. He can attack either the red or blue teams. Snake can also help one of the teams, help both the teams, or just sneak by both of them. Snake, just like in singleplayer MGS4, gets to use octocamo. A convinient automatic camoflauge system. So, Snake's goal is to sneak past the two teams at "war". It's pretty fun trying to send search parties out to find snake, whilst you're other teammates are attacking the opposing team. I'ts also fun as Snake to take people hostage, and then start a hostage negotiation XD funny stuff.

The all powerfull man-cannon of the map "Urban Ultimatum". You can choose two spots to launch on this map, the spot in this shot is the tall building on the right. And the other is just barely seen, but it's the building on the top-left corner with the railing and 2 closed windows.
