Just wanted to compile some facts for interest: I'm gonna start it off dark:

Did you know Genghis Khan raped one woman per village/town he conquered, which is why the most common surname in the world is Khan.

Babylon where the first civilisation to create maps.

In the days of old, any Japanese person who tried to leave the country, was summarily executed. As a further barrier to defection, a decree issued in Japan in the 1630s banned the building of any large sea-worthy ships.

When Japan invaded Manchuria, they celebrated by throwing screaming babies on bayonets as a game.

The shortest war there has ever been was between Britain and Zanzibar during 1896. It lasted for a pathetic 38 minutes.

At the height of inflation in Germany in the early 1920s, one U.S. dollar was equal to 4 quintillion German marks.

In the Six Days War: 452 Arab aircraft destroyed, of which 49 were aerial victories. The Israeli Air Force admits losing 46 aircraft, 12 to Arab air forces.

Germany in both world wars, created weapons that would change the way we fight wars, but they lost both wars.

Mexico created the first automatic rifle that is use in the army in the 1800s called the Mondragon, it was extremely accurate when used as single shots, it was one if not the first 'semi-auto' in the days.

Most machine guns that is used today is copied from the German MG42.

Israel in less then 60 years, invented: cell phone, camera phone, messenger system (AIM, YAHOO, MSN, etc), Antivirus software, Firewall, Intel Processor Chips (which is is used in all modern laptops), and the game of Mastermind. :)

Ah, but here is where you get your facts wrong:

That information is the FIRST cellphone call, if you do a little more research, you'll find out that Motorola R&D was located in Israel.

I never said processor chip, I said INTEL PROCESSOR CHIP, which is invented in Israel and use in modern laptops.

In 1992, Bob Braden and Annette DeSchon at the University of Southern California (USC) were refining the concept of a firewall. The product known as "Visas" was the first system to have a visual integration interface with colors and icons, which could be easily implemented and accessed on a computer operating system such as Microsoft's Windows or Apple's MacOS. In 1994 an Israeli company called Check Point Software Technologies built this into readily available software known as FireWall-1.

Israel didn't invented the camera phone, they invented a small microprocessor to create one.

ICQ is a popular instant messaging computer program, which was first developed by the Israeli company Mirabilis, then bought by America Online, and since April 2010 owned by Digital Sky Technologies (Russia). The name ICQ is a homophone for the phrase "I seek you".

The antivirus was created by Israel, but Symantec Corporation was the first to create the modern one as in a software.

So thank you, for telling me about 'lies', sense I worked in a computer security company for almost six years AND keeping up with my military conscription. Also I don't put patriotism in my facts, I tell it because I know it, its my country.

Germany invented the MP-18 which is the first 'modern' sub-machine gun, they also invented the modern U-Boat.

Albert Einstein didn't make the nukes, it was a team of scientists.

The Germans didn't invented many new weapons in WW1 - but they knew how to use them.

As far as I remember, they invented the General Purpose Machine Gun, the Portable Flamethrower, the Submachinegun as an assault weapon (Italian invented the SMG first, but it was used more like a Light MG), the Anti-Tank Rifle...

EDIT: I'm forgetting the most important of all: the "synchronization gear", which allowed the planes to have MGs firing through the propeller blades.

Sorry I just wanted to check on the internet, I didn't know, its just pretty amazing that such a small country made so much.

I wasn't talking about Einstein, I meant the guy who founded and lead Project Manhattan.

The first mobile phone call was placed to Cooper's rival at AT&T's Bell Labs from the streets of New York City,

This was just above the wikipedia page you read for firewalls

From 1989-1990 three colleagues from AT&T Bell Laboratories, Dave Presetto, Janardan Sharma, and Kshitij Nigam, developed the third generation of firewalls, calling them circuit level firewalls. That's third generation so the frist firewall was well before your claim

One claim to the be first ever anti virus software program was made by European Bernt Fix in 1987. In 1988 the first recorded antivirus software was Dr. Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit was released by Alan Solomon, of Great Britan.

In the last half of the 1980s and into the early 1990s, the Quantum Link online service for Commodore 64 computers offered user-to-user messages between currently connected customers which they called "On-Line Messages" (or OLM for short). (Quantum Link later became America Online and made AOL Instant Messenger (AIM)

I did a computer degree and studied ICT in school before that and practically all computer related inventions are from Britain or America

A little known fact about the nuclear bomb is British scientists were integral to the invention of the nuclear bomb and Canada was involved as well.

IBM once declared that their would only be a world market for 3 computers.

People probably know this but U-Boat is anglicised from U-Boot=unterseeboot=underwater boat.

The modern submarine was invented by an American who then sunk it.

Tanks are so called because the British kept their development a secret by saying it was a new form of water tank.

Supposed the first military aircraft with weapons (excluding hand dropped bombs) was the Vickers F.B.5 Gunbus.

The tradition of eating Turkey at Christmas is actually a substitute for the original goose, which was too expensive for most.

A Germanic Tribe believed that Santa Klaus was a reformed daemon.

Great Britain only adopted Christmas trees after it adopted a German monarch, as this was a German tradition.

yes I know its the wrong time of year, I just really like Christmas :P

Everyone in the Middle Ages believed -- as Aristotle had -- that the heart was the seat of intelligence.

To expand on of your points. The British adopted Christmas trees as Prince Albert felt homesick and brought over some christmas trees from Germany and people after a while started copying this xD
