I've finished Europe's political boundaries:
There is Denmark-Norway which controls Iceland and Greenland, Sweden which controls Finland, the Russian Empire, Poland-Lithuania, Prussia, small German states, the Habsburg Monarchy which controls Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland which controls Northern Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, small Italian states, Malta, Morocco and the Ottoman Empire.
Next I'm refining the research tree. It will include 3 levels of commandos and cavalry. The air force tab has been eliminated entirely. Carriers, rockets, and nuclear projects have also been removed. Hopefully I'll have screen shots in a few days.

Yeah, but it was a vassal of the Ottoman Empire, so I have the Ottoman Empire in control of it.
I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with Corsica yet. At this point I'm going to leave it controlled by France, but I might simply make the Republic of Corsica even though it never forms until 3 years after the start of my scenario.

What would be really cool is if you could divide Africa into tribal states. . . Yes, that would be challenging, but it would be a cool concept for the scenario.

At this point, that's what I'm doing. It's just excruciatingly difficult to find public information on major tribes in Africa.

Well, I sort of put it on pause. I still plan to finish it, but MHII has dominated my life for the past month. Don't worry, it WILL be released. Just... not yet. I still haven't conquered the world in MHII yet. I need to do that first. Then I'll probably keep working it on it.
