The fastest US plane of WW2? I'm pretty sure the ME-262 was the fastest XD

I actually remember reading that the plane was around the same speed as the other American carrier fighter, which i forgot the name of, and the Corsair actually had terrible agility. Also, I'm pretty sure the Enola Gay was the master of the pacific theater XD

OK, TehBoss, but this is the fastest plane of the USA, not Germany. ME-262 is a german plane. Actualy you're right. The Corsair is a carear plane.

No, not even of the USA, the P80 Shooting Star was the fastest American plane of WW2.

Even the P51 Mustang was faster than the Corsair.

Either way, I win :D

Tehboss, Actually the Messerchmitt (Me)-163 Komet is the fastest plane of World War II. The Messerchmitt (Me)-262 went from 520-540 mph while the Me-163 Komet's speed was almost the speed of Sound (somewhere from 596-620mph).
