Sorry for a late reply. Do you have administrator access?

I think so. How do you check this?

Control Panel>User Accounts>Account Type

That's to see if you have administrator powers.

To see if you have full control over the folder:

right click the folder>properties>security>your name/administrators and see if full control is ticked

Is your scenario in the scenario folder?

Yes it is. I see the scenario in the editor, (The Limits of Peace) but when I attempt to open it, the editor sticks for a moment and then doesn't load it. :(

Run Dbgview, and send it in to ML tech support.

When dealing with Win 7 - you need to make sure that:

  • You delete any virtual store:
  • \users\[name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Muzzy Lane\...
  • You give yourself permission to edit the contents of the real scenario folder that you want to mess with:
  • \Program Files(x86)\Muzzy Lane\Making History Gold\Modern Europe\scenarios\...

If you edit the above scenarios folder and give users "full permissions", then the editor will be able to modify those files. Otherwise, Windows 7 will create a copy of the files in the virtual store, and things get complicated from there.
