I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum.
I've tried directing this question to the muzzy lane tech support contact, but haven't received any reply. I have seen this question asked once before in the archives without receiving an answer.
It's nothing complicated, you probably know this but when you look at a unit with multiple shots (tank or artillery) the attack/defensive power shown is not (the chance for each shot)x(the number of shot). It seems to be a completely random number.
The question therefore is do units in MH Gold rely on the attack/defense power shown or do the mechanics use the actual shots and the shot chances. This is crucial for Gold multiplayer as it determines the effectiveness of multi shot land units compared to others.
It is also very odd for me to notice that this situation where the power is not equal to shot chance times number of shots is only the case with land attack and defensive power. Air power or sea attack power is indeed equal to the aforementioned formula.
An answer to this would be most appreciated.

Dude,Settle down man, It's the number of shots you have is to how many tanks or Artillery you or the enemy has. But It isn't random it's just the hit/miss percentage has increase to the number of hits.
Crushing your oppennet at Sea could easily make total victory on the enemy you picked.

Or the AI that you are at war with must have technology that raises defensive power :)
