First post I figured I should make it a little engaging this is a a little report of my current game where some pretty odd stuff has happened.
My country Confederate states (Southern Comfort mod) start date 1933
Current date July 1941 (About two-hundred turns left though I plan to continue after.) Difficulty easy(One above normal)
Will begin this in some detail when I continue the game today but will give you a outline of some of the things that has happened.
At the beginning the baltic countries form a alliance with Romania at its head China Crushes Communist China in just short of two weeks, shortly after japan declares war with some success witch I found shocking nearly getting the eastern most part of china and almost reaching Korea? under its control in little more than six or seven months ( Though it dosnt last long maybe a year.) The man aggressor witch on this scenario for me at-least is unusual the USSR in about thirty six explodes outwards concurring the baltic alliance in under three months with some of it going to Germany and another country than I cant remember. from then on its begins conquering and fighting almost ever little country south of asia starting with Persia ( With Iraq of all countries getting a small part of persia and a uk territory latter in the game.) more wars happen but the main thing that has shocked me is in late 40 USSR joined the German alliance with open arms after the United kingdom alliance declared war on it. ( for attacking another small country I thank its occurred during its war with Turkey or fighting in Finland.)

After generation a report I realize I was off on some of the dates and countries involved what I get for writing a outline from memoriy and not looking at facts. 7/20/1936 A fresh new day has begun today on the first year of my presidency after a long and taxing campaign to oust the former president. My first order of business is to begin massive industrialization of which though taxing on our budget will bring much need modernization to our nation in order to be respected in the world we have to leave our traditions behind us no more would we be reliant on farmed goods for income.
7/31/1936 Not much has happened with us though it has come to my attention that Germany has a new leader Adolf Hitler is his name saw a picture of him in this morning’s paper I can see unrelenting ambition in his eyes will have to watch him closely. Our Agricultural projects our on scheduled and should be in December at the latest.
8/24/1936 Just arrived back home from a trip to China news came from them that they had found a new way to mine deeper coal seams it appears to work well I have ordered the testing of these methods in our mines around Richmond for to my knowledge our are deepest. Hope to see these methods come to fruition for we have lost many men in search of deeper deposits.
8/31/1936 China has broken their peace with Communist China early this morning news has arisen that their reason is that Communist China is refusing to allow the transfer of China pows from the previous war.
9/7/1936 Civil war has broken out in Spain I hope it is a short-lived war for I know what can happen if it becomes protracted. Have thought of sending aid but after long thought I feel that it will be to tasking on our economy to be involved in a conflict that affects us so little.
12/14/1936 The first of our expensive Agricultural projects have been completed in Louisiana and Arizona though they have improved our production they are not at the levels my advisor predict though I am hopeful that it will just take time to see results and in two weeks the third is to be competed in Arkansas.
2/1/1937 After four months of bitter fighting Communist China has surrendered to China after this amount of bloodshed, I hope the region remains in peace for the future.
4/5/1937 After must frustration and waiting for production to reach the levels need I have reluctantly placed an request for forty tons of food onto the world market. May someone be in a position to sell it for if it take more than a few months we will begin to starve as stock piles have reached a mere fifteen hundred tons as of this month.
4/19/1937 Glorious day for the first ships laden with all forty tons of food have arrived from China at a costly sum but it is worth it I have ordered that all work for this week to stop and every family to get their fill of food.
5/10/1937 Nationalist span has won a long victory in Catalonia against the Republic of Spain a rumor is going around that Germany is aiding the Nationalist but I don’t see it happing as I see no gain from it for a man such as Hitler.
8/16/1937 It has been nearly a year since we began industrializing and Charleston first city has finally improved to be able to handle heavy industrial loads.
10/4/1937 The following month the Nationalist won a victory and today they did it again. I had sent on of my Observers to Spain to see the Naturalist’s Army in action to report their abilities to me for they must be strong to have won so quickly I hope he brings only good news to me.
1/1/1938 As a New Year is rung in, I have had to request more food from the world and thank fully Brazil and Poland has come to our aid though it is our money that has brought them to us. The first ships are to arrive in the coming weeks.
3/7/1938 Germany has declared war on Austria claiming the Austrian government is oppressing the Germanic people. I hope the war dos not spread.
3/21/1938 With mechanical effectiveness, the German army has forced the surrender of the Austrian Government.
3/28/1938 China is at war again this time they are not the aggressors the Emperor of Japan has declared war on them early this morning as their first waves of troops struck in the north east I am told by our economic advisor as I had sent him to the area to find ways to improve our farming abilities.
5/30/1938 As a wonderful thirty first-birthday present from Governor of Texas the factories in Houston have been upgraded.
8/32/1938
Sad day to day as my brother and loyal advisor to our economy was killed today in a tragic accident at sea. The cruise ship he was aboard the USS Pristine bound for Italy ran into a mine off the coast of the Philippines. The mine accordion to the United states had broken free from its tether line during a storm and drifted to the coast of the a minesweeper ship was in the area hunting for it and four others that had been lost. The incident killed four CSA civilians other than my Brother and his cabinet as well as two Americans in total three hundred lifes were lost it would had been worst had it not been so close to the U.S. base. Burial service will be held next week when we receive his body.
12/12/1938 Germany has simultaneously created an alliance with Romania and declared war on Czechoslovakia 12/19/1938 The British alliance has declared war on the German alliance and Czechoslovakia has joined them look like there is to be another world war I have called for a meeting with my advisors next week to see what we should do.
1/2/1939 A lot has happened in the war between German Alliance and Czechoslovakia Romania captured Ruthenia Germany captured Moravia and Bohemia while Czechoslovakia Struck back and captured Ostmark from Germany liberating Austria with the Austrian Government quickly joining the British Alliance. 2/13/1939 January was a busy month in the world, Germany continued its onslaught by taking Slavokia China won a quick two week battle against japan, the following week Germany recaptured Austria in falling in less than a week. Czechoslovakia surrendering the following week and China captured another province from Japan.
3/13/1939 Italy joined the German Alliance, the USSR is at war with the Baltic Alliance, and the first shipments of oil are bound for Great Brittan and France. After much deliberation me and my advisors have agree upon a four year plan to supply our riches resource Oil to the British alliance main war fighters I just hope they do not wish more of us as we will probably not survive being drawn into another world war.
