I would love to see Making HIstory III: 20th Century 1914-1954
Which covers WW1 all the way to Korea War
Then It would be great to make a politial, economical game with the engine: Economic Warlord, where player control nationals by directing resource and economic and technology research, dominate the world by economics means but not starting wars.

Almost in the end of the conversation.
Uh-oh they're onto us! Glad to see someone actually read my interview, LOL!
We are working on another MH game. We haven't made any official announcement yet, but it will not be WWII.
Here's a hint: You will get to play two distant etymological descendants of Caeser.

WWI can be a great era to play.....as long as you can add in the diplomatic/political options that is currently in MHII and others such as a way to make alliances and defensive pacts pre war to it. I used to (And still occasionally when the right friends come over) play Diplomacy the board game and LOVE it. WWI has very interesting borders, and political ties. Should be great to see what you guys do with it Muzzy!

Hmmm, not sure what I think about a WWI MH. Personally, I'd love to see a more modern Making History, mainly because we already have some great mods for MH that create a total conversion to WWI. If the modding community worked hard enough, we could use the MHII engine to make an epic WWI mod (a few modders even got the ball rolling a long time back!), but it'd be much, much harder to use it to make a modern world mod. Could it be done? Yes, but the work load would be much greater than that of a WWI mod.
Still, I'm happy to see that Muzzy is branching out to reach a new historic time period; you guys will have my support for as long as you keep running your business the way you do!

I would love to play a MH set in WW1. I think it's an excellent idea. You got my support. There could even be a scenario that covers the Balkan wars too.

You should add a large enough tech tree to bring the player from WW1 to the modern age.

Ill make a guess. The two descendants are the german ''Kaiser'' and the russian ''Tzar''. So its probably going to be WWI. Am I right? :P
Nope. It's obviously going to be The first war of the Roman republic. It's pretty clear to me. I mean the descendants of Caesar is going to be a literal descendant in Augustus Caesar and an ideological descendant in Mark Antony. I'm 100% absolutely sure this is it. I can't wait to play MH:Rome.

WWI, heck yes!
I get tired of having to roll through Africa and Europe with my tanks, I'd rather have the French throwing their divisions at my defensive line in the Alsace-Lorraine.
Africa is a shitstorm. Complete cluster fuck, rebellions everywhere. -SANAND
