The Ottoman Empire did not collaspe untill 1923, therefore: Turkey, Syria (French), Jordon, Iraq does did not gain independance till later.

Egypt is still part of United Kingdom but broke away in 1923, it did not become a full republic (independance nation) Untill 1953.
